Asus is known the world over for consistently delivering innovation and quality to all its customers. Asus has also announced its new corporate slogan to the world – “Inspiring Innovation. Persistent Perfection”

Asus has equipped its notebooks with the latest technology and unique applications that offer a complete comprehensive package to the end users. Certain applications such as Express Gate and Super Hybrid Engine provide Asus notebooks an edge above the rest.

The most remarkable breakthrough of Super Hybrid Engine is that it accords users the control they need to obtain their desired level of performance – either improving power efficiency or boosting performance by the same technology core. In terms of power efficiency improvement, Super Hybrid Engine can extend battery life between 35% and 70% as compared to notebooks with the same specifications but without the technology, and yet enable users to boost their systems’ performance by up to 23%. It achieves this by intelligently monitoring the power requirements of the notebook’s components and automatically adjusting the power levels in real-time to match the current consumption needs, thus optimizing both system performance and power efficiency. Users are also given the option of selecting from a number of presets manually to ensure that the notebook conforms to the owner’s usage demands.

Adding to this unique feature is the Asus Express Gate, it’s an additional built-in operating system that enables ultra fast boot up for access to a host of most commonly used features on Asus’ entire range of notebooks based on Intel’s latest platform, including Internet, instant messenger, Skype, online games, music and photos.

Asus Notebooks have also accomplished stupendous achievements. The latest eco-friendly notebook launched by Asus – the Asus U6V Bamboo notebook has withstood the harsh climate of the legendary Qomolangma Peak which is more famously known as Mount Everest. Asus U6V is the first notebook to have survived the unforgiving conditions of snow-capped Mount Everest, which stands at a staggering height of 8,848 meters (29,028 feet). Adding to the existing achievement, an ASUS notebook provided hassle free computing to astronauts in space for a period of more than 600 days. Such facts stand bearing to Asus’ commitment to provide the best to its consumers all the time.

At present, Asus has launched various notebook models in India for the customers to choose from. Asus notebook models such as the U6S offers stylish computing with power packed performance, the G50V a complete gaming power house to exceed your gaming demands and the latest Asus Bamboo notebook, that’s completely encased in  Bamboo coating and is the world’s first eco friendly notebook that offers excellent performance as well. The first thing about the Asus Bamboo Series notebook that commands immediate and unfailing attention is its artisan-grade Moso bamboo paneling, which is crafted with the precision and care typically associated with bamboo instruments and arts and crafts.

While on the Research & Development part, Asus has achieved milestones on the path of green computing. Considering the example of the U6V Bamboo notebook, Asus employs a complete green procurement process which is initiated from the sourcing of raw materials till the generation of the final product. Also the international RoHS directive restricts the use of 6 hazardous substances, namely lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants. Asus further restricts 31 additional substances on its own accord, for the safety of its customers, employees and the Earth at large. Some of these substances include nickel, arsenic, asbestos, formaldehyde, expanded polystyrene, ozone depleting substances, halogenated diphenyl methanes, perfluorooctane sulfonates (PFOS), fragrance substances (musk xylene and musk ketone) and Triclosan. Asus has taken a further initiative and banned 34 potential hazardous substances owing to its green computing philosophy.

Asus has a state of the art R& D team which constantly strives to innovate and provide the best to all the worldwide customers while keeping in mind its duty to the environment and contributing towards it by employing greener techniques and encouraging use of green resources such as Bamboo which have a faster regeneration rate and have a minimal effect on the environment.
